Jury Convicts Tsarnas of Felony Hit-and-Run Jeffry Lee Tsarnas, father of a 14-year-old girl who was killed by a hit-and-run driver, was found guilty this morning of felony hit-and-run for failing to stop his car after he struck and seriously injured a pedestrian on Fernbridge. Tsarnas. The jury, after a total of about 10 hours of deliberation over several days, returned the verdict about 11:30 a.m. Tsarnas did not visibly react. He is scheduled for sentencing April 26 and faces a maximum penalty of three years behind bars and a fine of $10,000.
