Kalamazoo County Commissioners open positions for Diversity,

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Tuesday, the Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners voted to open volunteer positions on the new Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Community Advisory Committee.
According to County Documents, the agenda item would allow for the creation of this task force, of which nine positions are held.
“Creation of a 9 member Community Committee who will assist the Internal Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council with advancing DEI efforts and other subcommittees and focus groups as requested. Appointments to the committee will ensure that representation reflects the diverse community of Kalamazoo County.”
