The assailant who went on a shooting spree at a school in Kazan in the Republic of Tatarstan acted alone and the data on two attackers do not reflect the real situation, Spokeswoman for the president of Tatarstan Liliya Galimova told reporters on Tuesday. "The attacker [was] alone and the data on two [assailants] are untrue," the statement says. As the press office of Russia’s National Anti-Terror Committee reported, an armed criminal opened fire at school No. 175 in Dzhaudat Faizi Street in Kazan at about 09:30. A counter-terror operation is taking place on the territory adjacent to the school.
