This was in the spirit of supporting the Muslim brothers during this Holy Month of Ramadhan. The exercise saw 130 households receive various foodstuffs while over 70 locals including women and children receive medication from the KDF medical team. The troops continue supporting locals in various ways including medical camps and water distribution to local schools and mosques during dry seasons. The Assistant Chief Handaki East, Noor Ali Khalif and Village Elder Adan Abdi thanked KDF troops for the support saying it has cushioned locals from traveling long distances to access water and medical services. The area Chief urged the troops led by Officer Commanding Major David Chacha to continue with the good gesture, promising their support.
