Kentucky high school goes into lockdown but officials find no evidence of gunshots

A Kentucky high school went into lockdown Monday as police investigated a report of shots fired, but no evidence of gunshots was found, authorities said.
The students and employees at Murray High School have all been deemed safe, Sgt. Andrew Wiggins of the Murray Police Department told media Monday.
Murray Police received a report of shots fired or of hearing gunshots at the high school at 8:54 a.m. and responded to the scene.
“While clearing the building, no evidence of a gunshot was found,” Wiggins said during a press conference.
