Article content Our float had just come to the end of the parade route in the Santa Claus parade in our city some years ago when I saw it. There, weaving its way through the city on a parallel street was a funeral procession. Momentarily it caused me to ponder. I wondered how those looking out the windows of the shiny black sedans in the funeral cortege felt. Before their eyes were children laughing, dancers dancing, clowns cavorting, music playing, and a colorful mass of gaily decorated floats. We apologize, but this video has failed to load.
