Meantime the president is under fire for referring to Domestic Violence claims against an aide after mere allegations and calling for due process. Those comments after two exwives of rob porter accuse of spousal abuse. They said its a tough time for him but made no mention of his accusers. She said the tweet implied shes a liar. But senior white house aides are defending the president s comments and the way the allegations were handled. Rob porters gone from one of the top aides to donald trump, our president , to no longer working there. I think the president , like the rest of us were shocked and disturbed by the allegations. But looking at pictures, police reports, detailed allegations by these women and yes, we are a nation of laws, we are a nation of due process and all sides should be heard out. Kellyanne conway insists the president still has confidence in his chief of staff, john kelly and has no plans of replacing him. Kelly is accused of knowing about the allegations against porter for several months and doing nothing about them. Meanwhile, conway also spoke about the memo on the russia investigation. The one we want to mention here, in new york state, the attorney general filed a civil rights lawsuit against weinstein and his brother, days before the half billion dollar sale of their company. The suit claims weinstein persistently sexually harassed women employees and the Weinstein Company failed to protect workers from harassment intimidation and discrimination. Weinsteins attorney responded to the lawsuit saying weinsteins behavior was not without fault, but it was not criminal. Weinstein will investigate discrimination in reforming the movie industry, but continues with this, if the purpose is, however, to scapegoat mr. Weinstein, he will defend himself. We turn now to the white house, facing more fallout in response to Domestic Abuse allegations to top aide of President Trump. The president expressed sympathy for his former staffer, rob porter. President trump suggested speaking with north korea would be a waste of time. Investigators are combing the snowcovered fields near moscow for clues after the crash of a passenger jet.
