The National Hurricane center says it has now topped sustained winds of about 85 miles an hour. Dorian is centered northwest of puerto rico heading toward the eastern side of the bahamas and could grow into a dangerous category 3 hurricane as it chugs toward florida. Floridas governor is warning residents to make sure they have seven days of supplies if they plan to ride out the storm at home. And that set off a mad rush on grocery and big box stores.
