We have video to show you of the firefight last night in lake county. Firefighters are stretched very thinly across three counties fighting this fire. It is a big one. They say that it has burned a total of 356,000 acres. Some residents in lake county are helping in the fight, some say that they have used dozers to dig out a line around their homes in the hopes of saving their property. We did our part, we put fire lines around the valley and saved it because i like looking at green trees instead of charred ones. The times says a similar alert was sent in Sonoma County to areas that required no evacuation. That alert lichked linked to ls kincaid fire. And the city Emergency Operations employee missed a call to report to work because their phone was set to vibrate. This is all just a year after napa, sonoma and solano counties introduced the high low sirens intented to e intended for alert of damage and they were not used. And a guerneville home owner is vowing to rebuild. It was destroyed in the lnu lightning complex fire. Of course it was a heartbreaking momt as he fou moment as he found his home of 28 years is gone. He says his home was equipped with fireproof siding, but that was obviously not enough. The dolan fire has burned a facility at the sanctuary. The fate of a four month old condor chick is not known. The chicks parent flew away and the remote camera was destroyed. The sanctuary is run by a nonprofit group.
