Farmers in Dharwad district are gearing up for kharif sowing with the support of the agriculture department. The district has received ample pre-monsoon showers, setting a perfect stage for sowing operations. Various crops like groundnut, soya, cotton, green gram, black gram, maize, and paddy are being cultivated in different hectares. The agriculture department is well-prepared to supply seeds and fertilizers through 31 Raita Samparka Kendras (RSK) to meet the demand and ensure a successful kharif season.
