Killaloe OPP investigate two snowmobile collisions over the weekend

KILLALOE – Members of the Killaloe Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated two separate snowmobile collisions on Saturday, Jan. 23.
Shortly after 1 p.m., police responded to a single vehicle snowmobile collision on the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) trail E109, in the Township of Madawaska Valley. The lone operator was taken to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries after the sled they were driving struck a tree.

A second single-vehicle snowmobile collision occurred at approximately 4:50 p.m., on the OFSC B106E trail in the Township of South Algonquin. The driver suffered non-life threatening injuries when the sled collided with a tree. They were taken to hospital by ambulance. No charges were laid in either incident.
