A NEW 900-place school offering a public school style education without the price tag is to open in Farnworth.
King's Leadership Academy, a state-funded school, has been given the green light to open a new secondary school in the town next year following the huge success of its school in Great Lever, which opened in 2019 .
It comes just a day after the Great Lever based school was given planning permission for a multi-million pound build to accommodate 900 pupils and replace the current high quality temporary accommodation.
