Wicked Local KINGSTON – As the firefighters put out the fire, the water level gets lower and the water comes from the bottom of the tank, with all this activity stirring up the manganese. Selectman Jess Kramer knows what it’s like to have her clothes ruined and need to spend money on filters and bottled water when the water in her home is unusable because it has turned brown or black. She wants to find some way to compensate residents with the same experiences she and other families have had while trying to be patient waiting for the new treatment facility to be built.
