Photo / Supplied Three dozen kiwi chicks have hatched so far this kiwi egg-lifting season in a Hawke's Bay forest. It's a promising mid-season result according to Forest Lifeforce Restoration Trust staffer and "kiwi whisperer" Barry Crene.
