S. Sailor opened fire at a dry dock killing two civilian Shipyard Workers and injuring a third before taking his own life. This is certainly a tragedy for everyone here but certainly our sincere thoughts are with the families of the victims and everyone involved. Reporter so far, the military has not identified anyone involved or provided a motive but it did say the gunman was assigned to the uss columbia, a submarine that was at the shipyard for maintenance. Well be looking at every aspect of it, what lessons we can learn, what additional, you know, security procedures would be needed. The prosecutors and others involved in the high profile case in the lawsuit he claims that that he conspired to try to get him convicted. This morning, George Zimmerman, the former florida neighborhood watchman has filed a 100 million lawsuit against the family of Trayvon Martin the 17yearold he shot and killed back in 2012. Zimmerman, who says the shooting was a case of selfdefense after martin attacked him was eventually acquitted on seconddegree murder and manslaughter charges the verdict divided the nation in the suit, zimmerman claims he was the victim of conspiracy, malicious defamation it alleges the prosecutions key witness, Trayvon Martins girlfriend Rachel Jeantel who testified she was on the phone with martin right before she was caught was quote an imposter and fake witness suddenly the phone hang up. Reporter she tells nbc news her testimony at trial was accurate and her relationship with Trayvon Martin was however she defined it the suit alleges martins real girlfriend, a woman named brittany diamond eugene was actually on the phone with him but was unwilling to testify, so martins legal team found a fake replacement. Zimmermans attorney Larry Klayman says the new evidence was revealed to him by the director of a new documentary style film called the trayvon hoax. Youre not in any way dragging a family who lost a child through the court system again. Unfortunately many members of the family dragged an innocent man through the court system and if he had been convicted he would be doing life in prison, and thats a serious offense. And he deserves 100 million. He deserves more than a hundred Million Dollars.
