According to KPD, officers got the call around 6:55 p.m. and the Knox County Dispatch said a man was holding a restaurant employee at gunpoint. Officers arrived to find the suspect standing behind the cash register, and he was confronted and arrested without further incident. No injuries were reported, KPD said.
