At midnight they say gruber was highly intoxicated and left on a couch. Nine hours later he was found with a weak pulse. Fraternity members took him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy showed his blood alcohol was 4. 95 at the time of his death, six times the legal driving limit and two times over what is considered to be a lifethreatening amount of alcohol. If convicted, knockham could get five years in prison for the negligent homicide charge. The District Attorney plans to take over in the investigation and says more charges could be filed.
