Reporter Police Body Cam footage released by the austin Police Department shows deputies from the Williamson County Sheriffs Office pursuing 40yearold javier ambler, during a 22minute chase that included five crashes. This incident took place in march 2019. The deputies struggled with ambler, a black man, for several minutes, tasing him several times. I think if you dont study ones culture or no someone elses background that youre dealing with, you can see them as a threat when theyre not a threat. Reporter do you think that happens . I believe that does happen. There have been times when ive been out of uniform where i have been treated differently. I keep those stories at home or away from work.
