Rises in hospitalizations and rates of infection prompted governor gavin newsom to warn that a rollback of the states reopening is not out of the question. As cases rise in the south and west, the onetime epicenter of the outbreak is taking precautions. People coming in from states that have a high infection rate must quarantine for 14 days. Reporter the governors of new york, connecticut and new jersey warned those in violation of the rule would face a fine of up to 10,000. Their list of states includes texas. There is a massive outbreak of covid19 across the state of texas. Bryans lawyer says his client, who recorded the incident on video, is innocent. Travis mcmichaels lawyer says his client will plead not guilty. Bayer has agreed to pay up to 10. 9 billion to settle thousands of current and potential future lawsuits claiming that its popular weed killer roundup causes cancer. The lawsuits claim a key ingredient in roundup glyphosate causes nonhodgkins lymphoma. Bayer maintains its safe. An independent panel of experts will now study roundup. If the panel finds it does cause cancer, bayer will no longer be allowed to claim it does not in court.
