We had been seeing hot weather so far this weekend today. A lot of inland areas dropping into the upper 80s. A okay with that. Looking outside this morning, we do have some of that cloud cover across the bay. Pretty steady breeze working its way in from the coastline. All things that really helped us out yesterday and will again today. Now, if we zoom out way out across the region, look at hurricane hilary now a category 4 storm sitting south of california. The west coast of mexico will make its way northward in the coming days and have a big impact for Southern California. Neighbors as it does likely work its way into the state, potentially still under Tropical Storm status. Now for us in the bay area. Whats the impact here . Going to what we could see an isolated thunderstorm or 2, a few showers for us. Really the impact is going to be for Southern California as the storm advances through la san diego, specially palm springs death valley will result in the potential of flash flooding for Southern California neighbors. So wheres bay area totals could be just trace amounts. Areas like death valley could see upwards of 4 inches of rainfall. Thats doubling the average yearly rainfall that death valley gets areas like palm springs could see well over 40, even 5 inches of rain. Thats where your flash Flooding Risk is going to be the greatest. Now back here at home, were certainly not looking at that inclement weather ahead of us. Were going to be skirting around the edge of that. So its just going to be a forecast that gets a little cooler and could prove to be a few light showers into early next week. Looking at the numbers on the map today, youre definitely seeing a cooler forecast today. Most of us dropping into the 80s, even our inland east bay neighbors livermore down to 89 today conquered 85. Well, oakland berkeley, leandro in the 70s. Nobody getting up to 90 antioch in vacaville are close to spots at 89 today. Looking ahead, tomorrows temperatures will rise just a little bit. Well see a few low to midnineties for saturday and sunday, but still way closer to our seasonal averages that we had been chance of thunderstorms looking the greatest come monday could see some isolated showers out of that remnant. Tropical moisture. Before we clear out and do warm up a little bit towards the middle to end of next week. As for your roads right now still friday. Light out there. Nothing hold the up at the bay bridge. Love it. When commutes below 10 minutes, you know, its going to pick up a little bit. But hoping that it doesnt get too bad today, Richmond Center fell at 7 minutes and a look at the Golden Gate Bridge not looking out of 10 of fog out there as youre making your crossing. James.
