Also, this morning, we have san jose looking very good in both directions. We are off to a good start. Lets go back to the headlines. This is day 10 against the scu lightning complex fires. The biggest of the fires is burning between the diablo range and the east bay and the central valley. Almost 572 square miles, it is 20 contained. The weather is cooler and humidity is high. That is helping firefighters. Today at noon, two bay area congressmen whose districts are hit hard by the scu lightning complex fires will post a townhall on the situation. A south bay congressmen will be joined by fremont fire chief, curtis jacobson, and a unit chief for cal fire. More help is on the way to battle the lnu complex fires. These fires have destroyed or damaged homes in 557 square miles. It is 57 contained. This is going to be a long time with smoke in the air conditions are in our favor. We will maximize them while we got them. In Sonoma County most evacuees are being allowed back home. 5000 people are under a mandatory evacuation order. Yesterday, many more were under that warning. A Mobile Home Park at Lake Berryessa is among the areas wiped out by the ellen you fires. It was incredible. They are conducting what is known as a filing operation. They shot players i held so flames burned up the hill rather than down the slope where it has an open field run towards the community of middletown. In marin county, evacuation orders continue for the woodward fire. That has forced the closure of the national seashore. 90 homes have been evacuated warnings were issued for both sides of highway 1, north of sir francis drake. So far, the woodward fire has burned more than four square miles. It is only 5 contained. Flames came within the football field of the visitor center. All roads, trails and paths are closed until further notice. Evacuation warnings are in effect for parts of the area. We asked, if we issue these evacuation warnings, if we issue them, you leave. We have limited space and resources across the state. We have to make an investment in getting people out before its too late. It will take away from our abilities to fight the firefighters. The fire is hard to put out because of the extremely rough terrain. The time is 4 05. The czu lightning complex fires, they are 19 contained. The cooler weather is helping the firefighters. The fire did grow to 124 square miles. There are no new evacuation warnings. That includes santa clara and santa cruz counties. Two people who were reported missing have been found. The Sheriffs Department is looking for 5 others who were reported missing. Three of those cases are from the bondage area, one from that moment, again, detectives are working throughout the day and into the evening to locate these people and try to figure out exactly where we are. The cal fire reminds you, stay out of the evacuation zones. Thousands of homes and commercial businesses are still at risk. 443 buildings have already been destroyed. 40 others have been damaged in the fires. People who live in the Santa Cruz Mountains fire zone can go online to check on their property. The Operations Center has created this map, showing a house by house view of the damage. David, with the monterey fire department, was a way to help the department. He got a call. His home was destroyed. In kenosha, two people were killed. One was hurt during overnight street protests. Reportedly, the shooting might have come from armed men who were protecting businesses. There is video of a man shooting protesters, then walking towards police. His arms in the air, as you see in the middle of the screen, a gun strapped on his chest. This happened in the third nights of protests since the Police Shooting of jacob blake. Jacob blakes family and attorneys say he is paralyzed from the waist down. It would be a miracle if he ever walked again. Jacob was shot in the back by police at least seven times on sunday. Officers were responding to a Domestic Violence call. There have been many violent protests with businesses being damaged. Jacob blakes mother is asking people to protest peacefully. If jacob knew what was going on as far as that goes, the violence and the destruction, he would be very unpleased. They are still investigating the shooting of jacob blake. The Police Officers involved are now on administrative leave. The Detroit Lions nfl team are taking a stand against police brutality. Yesterday, they walked off the practice field with this sign, the world cant go on, and we wont be silent.
