The biggest of the fires is burning between the diablo range and the east bay and the central valley. Almost 572 square miles, it is 20 contained. The weather is cooler and humidity is high. That is helping firefighters. Today at noon, two bay area congressmen whose districts are hit hard by the scu lightning complex fires will post a townhall on the situation. A south bay congressmen will be joined by fremont fire chief, curtis jacobson, and a unit chief for cal fire. More help is on the way to battle the lnu complex fires. These fires have destroyed or damaged homes in 557 square miles. It is 57 contained. This is going to be a long time with smoke in the air conditions are in our favor. We will maximize them while we got them. In Sonoma County most evacuees are being allowed back home. 5000 people are under a mandatory evacuation order. Yesterday, many more were under that warning. A Mobile Home Park at Lake Berryessa is among the areas wiped out by the ellen you fires. It was incredible. They are conducting what is known as a filing operation. In marin county, evacuation orders continue for the woodward fire. In kenosha, two people were killed. One was hurt during overnight street protests. Reportedly, the shooting might have come from armed men who were protecting businesses. There is video of a man shooting protesters, then walking towards police. His arms in the air, as you see in the middle of the screen, a gun strapped on his chest. This happened in the third nights of protests since the Police Shooting of jacob blake. Jacob blakes family and attorneys say he is paralyzed from the waist down. It would be a miracle if he ever walked again. Jacob was shot in the back by police at least seven times on sunday. Officers were responding to a Domestic Violence call. There have been many violent protests with businesses being damaged. Jacob blakes mother is asking people to protest peacefully. If jacob knew what was going on as far as that goes, the violence and the destruction, he would be very unpleased. They are still investigating the shooting of jacob blake. The Police Officers involved are now on administrative leave. The Detroit Lions nfl team are taking a stand against police brutality. Yesterday, they walked off the practice field with this sign, the world cant go on, and we wont be silent.
