The entire town without power and officials shut off gas as a precaution, fortunately there are no reports of any serious injuries. But we keep hearing about the Severe Weather. I know, not here at home, though. No Severe Weather in our forecast, at least for today. Start heating up . Absolutely, the big story for us over the course of the weekend, what we can expect, the warmfront to help get that goingment looking right now 18 hour loop. All the way back in time here to see some of the storms we just talked about that led to tornados errupting. Look at this errupting over northern illinois. Thats where the damage had been done. This is the very same system thats going to be headed our way for now though, clear as can be. We ends one another real nice afternoon. But heres how the pattern changes, folks. We keep up in the mid 80s with the sunshine, then start to seat warmfront lift through here. So warmfront warm air typically more moisture this time of year. Thats what will happen. This is classicment back to the 90s starting tomorrow. There will be a shower or thunderstorm in the mix here as well with the warmfront. We keep the theme going on sunday. By this point mid nine 90s very, very steamy second half of the weekend. It might even feel like it is pushing 100 degrees by the height of the day so dangerously hot outside. Already starting to see modifications, for today air quality moderate. Even though humidity isnt horrible. Do you have take it easy if you have respiratory illnesses, heat index values, use caution very high uv index today with the bright sunshine, up at ten today. Meanwhile, pollen pretty low will stay that way good news, we are shooting at this point for four days straight, of 90 or above. So we easily make it a heatwave we think beginning tomorrow, and as we head in again through the course of the day spec to go see a shower or a thunderstorm, as well. By sunday, again it may feel as hot as 100 degrees, watch for shower, perhaps thunderstorm, should be isolated, and then, as we look ahead to monday, cold front crosses through but it clearly doesnt have a lot of cool air with t still going to peak to 90 degrees, even though skies clear out on tuesday. Because usually 95 and the schuylkill is totally jammed, and right now were just slow. This is 95 southbound, right around cottman avenue. Usually at this time it is 6 16, every single lane of 59 is completely saturate intoed downtown. Thats why this shot is so surprising to me. Speed censors we went from being in the 50s, and weve dropped ever so slightly really into the 40s, so it is really not that awful headed in and out of center city. Thats great gift for this morning. So we take it. Also the 42 freeway no delays in either direction. So allinall, looking good. No delays for mass transit. I mean really just nice ride this morning definitely nice treat for the weekend erika . Going to work today not much after commute. No traffic to deal with. Must be nice.
