Back to you. New this Morning Police in mount laurel investigating a shooting of the 17 yearold boy. Police responded to that call shortly before midnight on the 3300 block of marne highway. That boy had been shot multiple times including his chest. He was taken to mount Laurel Hospital and no ward on his condition. Calls for justice are growing louder in the case of the the south jersey man shot and killed by police during a traffic stop. This comes after a grand jury decided not to indict the the officers involved. Eyewitness News Reporter Steve Paterson has details. It is a small town. Hush, hush town. Reporter that is how they feel, that it is hush hush in Cumberland County, days after a grand jury decided not to indict the officers, involved in this shooting death of 36 yearold jerome reid, saturday, reids family says that theyre in the done fighting. Tragedy at a british air show as Fighter Jet Crashes into a busy main road killing seven people. Right new we have some breaking news to tell with you, an offduty Philadelphia Police sergeant is killed in a crash overnight. Eyewitness News Reporter cherry greg joins us live with more on that, cherry, what is going on out there, what can you tell us. Reporter well, good morning, nicole, a sad morning here at Philadelphia Police department 39th district where officers are beginning their shift and they are learning that one of their own has died in a car crash, overnight. It is very quiet here. But police say it happened in roxborough, in a winding section of the 6100 block of henry avenue near du pont around midnight saturday. That is where a sergeant from this district crashed, his dodge ram truck into a tree. In other vehicles were involved in the crash but the sergeants truck was said to be badly damaged. The officer who was offduty at the the time was rush to the area hospital and police now confirmed that he has died. Name and age of the officer has in the yet been released pending net case, of his family. As i mention that had sergeant is from that 39th police district. I just saw officers coming in holding their breakfast and no doubt this will be a tough morning as they learn the tragic news.
