Back to you. Northeast philadelphia overnight, shooting took place after 2 00 this morning. A man and woman were driving home from a bar, when they saw a car with two men behind them. When that man and women got out of their car, a fight broke out. Two men approached with a tire iron. The womans 30 year old male con pam john was shot twice. That man is now in critical condition. So far no other information on the shooter. Police have a man in custody, following an overnight starting, 21st street and pennsylvania avenue, down the block from a police station. Two officers returned to that scene after hearing a manuel for help. They immediately arrested the suspect. The 56 year old victim is now in critical condition. No word yet what led to the stabbing but we are told the victim and suspect new each other. No arrests after overnight shooting in philadelphias logan neighborhood. Investigators say a 31 year old man was shot around 1 00 this morning while sitting in his car. The shooting happened near 15th and lowden streets. Now the victim was hit in the neck but he was able to get out of his car and get help. No word on his condition this morning. Mercer county authorities are investigating a shooting involving trenton police. Investigators say, two officers shot a suspect, after he reached for a gun in his waistbands. The man was rushed to the hospital. No officers were hurt. Eyewitness News Reporter alicia, picks up the story. Authority in new jersey investigating an officer involved shooting after around 5 15 trenton street crimes unit stopped group of men along pennington avenue near calhoun street. Authority say while conducting their investigation, with these men, it was discovered that one of them was armed with a handgun, in his waistbands. When police made that discovery, they say the man pulled away from detectives, and started running. Then moments later, he reaches for the gun from his waistbands, as he turned his body towards detectives. Two trenton officers discharged their firearms, and the man was struck. The the man running and shot by police collapsed in the back of a home along pennington avenue. Authorities were able to recover a handgun in a nearby yard. And saying no officers were injured during this event. But that in the chaos of things, the other men who police had stopped, they were able to flee the scene. Authorities say the man shot by police here was transported to Capitol HealthRegional Medical center where he is being treated for his injuries authorities are not release that mans name, nor his condition at this time. She has only been a nurse for fifth years, so she questioned herself, but insisted on more checks with the baby, and the heart malformation, was finally found. God forbid i took her home, who knows the outcome. I lost it. Avenue of emotion come through the baby ended up with open heart surgery, live saving opening that might not have happened without nurse helene s concerns. She saved our daughter. So, i dont even have the words how much we appreciate her. I feel like i was doing my job that day.
