Investing in program and curriculum development. Building a transparent and inclusive campus culture. Broadening community and educational collaboration. To achieve those goals, the college has named “Mover Teams” of LCCC faculty who will help the college reach the goals set by the strategic plan. The Scholarship Mover Team was created to improve enrollment and retention in the college. According to Team member Debby Edelman, the main way to improve that is through scholarships. The team, along with the LCCC Foundation, shares a software called Academic Works, which streamlines the scholarship application process.
