La Crosse Little Pantries Program continues to help the community through food drive The little pantries program plans on holding this event every year April 25, 2021 5:40 PM Marsalis McGhee Updated: LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Four years ago, one little pantry popped up to help a local elementary school, now the program has grown and continues to help the community. The La Crosse Area Free Little Pantries program along with La Crosse Neighborhoods Inc held a food and personal care drive Sunday. People brought donations to the Main Branch Library. Their volunteers separated the items to go to different indoor and outdoor schools and community pantries. The scarcity of personal care and food items was made worse because of the pandemic, but this issue will continue once the pandemic is over.
