Labour demand in Croatia down 18% y/y in Feb - think-tank Mario Fajt/CC by 2.0 ZAGREB (Croatia), March 3 (SeeNews) - Labour demand in Croatia in February was 18% lower in annual terms, after shrinking by 33% year-on-year in January, showing the continuing effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the labour market, a local think-tank said on Wednesday. This is the milder drop compared to movements in the previous months, the Institute of Economics Zagreb (EIZ) said in its monthly report on the country's labour demand measured by the Online Vacancy Index (OVI). Demand for occupations in the service sector and the construction sector continued to fall in February.
