Glenn Lazard and Pat Lewis voted in favor of the ordinance, which was rejected by a 3-2 vote. The council received more than 3,000 calls regarding the proposed mandate, with 999 of those calls in favor of the ordinance. We reached out to the three council members who voted against the ordinance, but did not receive a response.
