August 2, 2021 Governor Polis decided to end the remaining health emergency executive orders on July 8, 2021. Accordingly, as the school year is set to begin, information follows for the Lamar School District. No publication can be expected to address every question and it is important to recognize that such planning is subject to change as new information is ever-developing. Given the recognized benefit to in-person, uninterrupted learning, the following is identified to begin the 2021-2022 school year. ● We encourage children to be vaccinated and wear face coverings per CDC guidance, though we are not requiring it at this time. ● While we will not be doing temperature checks at every location, we still recommend screening at home. Parents are expected to contact their school office to report absences and related symptoms.
