LANSING — A Lansing man has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of two men, despite objections from the men's family. Zacharey Diederichs, 31, is charged with fatally shooting stepbrothers Marcus Jackson-Burton and Steven Jackson on Aug. 3 inside a restaurant in the 3400 block of Pleasant Grove Road. He pleaded guilty Tuesday to two counts of second-degree murder and one count of possession of a weapon by a felon. The sentencing agreement was for a minimum of 30 and a half years to 50 years in prison for the murder charges. Ingham County Circuit Court Judge Clinton Canady III will set the maximum sentence, which can be up to life in prison.
