By cassie mcclure for lcu • May 10, 2021 Las Cruces Utilities (LCU) and its Utilities Customer Advisory Group (UCAG) wants your opinion on the gas rate review and its recommendations. UCAG informs the Las Cruces Utilities (LCU) Board of Commissioners (Board) which then submits its recommendation to City Council. Residents have until May 26, 2021 to provide input on the gas rate review options, but can attend at virtual meeting on Wednesday, May 12, at 3 p.m. The meeting will have a presentation by UCAG based on information given by Stantec Consulting, the consultant that that evaluated current gas rates, examined revenue requirement, and the cost of providing services.
