By Stephanie Fryer Apr 27, 2021 3:37 PM WESTPORT, Wis. — People will have the opportunity to use the shooting ranges at the Dane County Law Enforcement Training Center on weekends starting mid-May. The Dane County Sheriff’s Office works with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to open the facility to the public for target shooting. Public hours will be Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. starting May 15. The training center is located at 5184 Highway 19 in the town of Westport. It is equipped with klong gun and handgun firearm ranges. Fees are $10 per person per day and must be paid with cash or personal check. Credit cards will not be accepted.
