Leeann Wallace found guilty of attempt to skew Whanganui police inquiry


A new trial date has yet to be set for Zane Wallace.
The trial of his mother continued.
Summing up to the jury on Friday, Justice Jill Mallon​ said Leeann Wallace was accused of being party to her daughter Stevie-Lee​ Wallace and Stevie-Lee’s father, Steven Wallace, attempting to pervert the course of justice by adversely affecting the police investigation into how Wilson was injured.

Leeann Michelle Wallace was found guilty of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
The jury had heard that Steven Wallace had visited his son on July 31, 2019, and discovered the seriously injured Wilson.
