Jordy Leschinski, 20, is facing 19 charges. According to Biggar RCMP, they received a call shortly before 6 p.m. on April 18 that a man had pointed a firearm at someone. The caller also said the man left with a female youth in his vehicle. All three were known to each other. Court documents say that Leschinski had a loaded Winchester 94 in the back of his Dodge Ram. Police arrested him and took him to the hospital, where he allegedly escaped custody. Court records state Leschinski “escaped from lawful custody of the Biggar RCMP by getting out of his handcuffs and fleeing the Biggar Hospital.”
