A Lewiston man is facing several charges after police say he robbed the Lewiston branch of an Auburn Savings Bank.
Police say Nickolas King entered the bank on Sabattus Street around 3 p.m. Wednesday. He allegedly told the teller he had a weapon but did not show one. He ran off with an undisclosed amount of money.Sign up for our Newsletters
Using a police K-9, authorities found King behind the Central Avenue armory. He is charged with robbery and violating the conditions of release from an unrelated charge.
As the investigation continues, police ask if anyone witnessed the robbery to please contact them.
