LG Display's research papers on ultra-large organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays and stretchable displays have been recognized as outstanding works at a world-renowned conference of the display industry, the display maker said Sunday. The company said its research papers on new technologies applied to ultra-large OLED and stretchable displays each won Distinguished Paper awards at the Society for Information Display (SID). The achievements will be announced at the SID Display Week, which will be held from Sunday to Friday in Los Angeles.
