MURFREESBORO – With her team down one in the closing seconds of regulation, there wasn't much doubt as to who was going to take Lebanon's last shot.
Guard Addie Porter pulled up off the dribble and nailed a 12-foot leaner with 3.5 seconds left, handing the Devilettes a 36-35 win over Bradley Central Thursday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Class 3A BlueCross Basketball Championships at MTSU's Murphy Center.
“Porter knew it was coming to her,” LHS coach Cory Barrett said. “She had some options, but I'm glad she took it in there. She's made big shots her whole life.”
