NBC “A Little Late With Lilly Singh,” one of TV’s rare late-night series hosted by a woman, is coming to an end. The comedian announced Thursday on Instagram that she’s “saying goodbye” to her 12:35 a.m. show and moving on to new projects with NBC’s parent company and Netflix. “I have a desire to make longer form content telling underrepresented stories, which is difficult to execute on a nightly show,” Singh said. After less than two years on the air, “A Little Late” will air its final episode June 3. NBC said it is not planning to put another original talk show into the wee-hours time slot.
