Representative image Updated: May 11, 2021, 03:32 PM IST To curb the black marketing of liquor during the ongoing CPVID-19 pandemic, the Chhattisgarh State Marketing Corporation Limited (CSMCL) on Sunday (May 9), had decided to allow online sale of liquor in the state through an app. An official from the state’s excise department, which was granted permission by the state commercial taxes department, made a statement saying, "To curb illegal manufacturing, sale, transportation and possession of liquor during the lockdown period, permission has been granted for its home delivery through online orders from Monday," an official from the excise department said.
