But their condition remains unknown. Police and the ambulance service both attended Pontcanna Fields from around 5.30pm onwards where by eye witnesses confirmed that a person was recovered from the River Taff, on the same side as Cardiff Riding School. The person was recovered from the river by winch onto a stretcher .
