A serial drink driver was given one of Western Australia’s harshest sentences over the accidental slaying of two 27-year-old women on Perth’s roads in May last year, but wasn’t barred from driving ever again.
Supreme Court Justice Bruno Fiannaca sentenced Shane Bradley Pearce, 50, to 11 years jail, with parole after nine years and the chance five years after his release to overturn his 10-year licence disqualification.
