The second spell of lockdown in the State expired on Sunday. The relaxation hours from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. were extended till 1 p.m. and a grace period of one more hour was allowed till 2 p.m. to let people who went out return home. A Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao decided to enforce the lockdown utmost strictly from 2 p.m. to 6 a.m. It was also decided to permit the working days of government offices, land and property transactions in registration offices and vehicle registration in transport offices adhering to COVID and lockdown relaxation norms.
