The decision to impose lockdown was taken on March 11 in a meeting chaired by Nagpur Guardian Minister Nitin Raut. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday had said that strict lockdown measures will be enforced in some parts of the state to contain the spread of COVID-19. Shops of essential commodities will remain open, liquor will be sold online
