P.V.Georgen has moved his law office to the Lafferty Block, and Dr.Rutherford, the veterinarian, is settled down in the Pratt Block next to the O’Reilly Grocery Store.
1898
The School Board met to decide whether to build a new four-room school on Gaddy Street or to make an addition to East Ward (Victoria) School. It was decided to do the latter at a cost of $8,000. It all burned in 1915 however, being replaced by the still-standing Red River College.
