Read Article 100 Years Ago: 1921 A meeting of the Degree of Pocahontas was held last night with many attendants. The next meeting will be Feb. 9 when the degree will be worked on with a large class of candidates. Refreshments will be served. The following committee will be in charge, K.H. Gammon, Walter Pitcher and Albert Manley. 50 Years Ago: 1971 Mrs. Margaret Larock, attorney, will be the instructor for two sessions for the topic of “Wills and their Importance” which is being sponsored by the YWCA. The sessions will be held on two consceutive Monday evenings in the Pine Street YWCA at 7:30 p.m. and the public is welcome to attend. The series will include such answers to questions as When Do I need a Will? How do I go about it? How do I make my wishes known? Also discussed will be point tenantry — guardianship — conservatorship thinking of children under 20 years and older parents. Basic questions will be answers.
