Lorry and taxi drivers - plus other members of the public - have been warned not to park on the Barbican's pavements after new planters were installed to brighten up the area and stop that very thing from happening.
Some local residents in Southside Street have been grumbling ever since the planters were introduced - not because they don't like them - but because vehicles are now obstructing the road further down, causing traffic backlogs and making it difficult for pedestrians to pass.
