SIBU: Primary schools in all districts in the state have reopened on Monday (March 15) except in Miri, but teachers were greeted with fewer students. Primary schools in Miri will only have face-to-face learning after March 22, as the district is still a Covid-19 red zone. Meanwhile, many parents were still cautious about sending their children to school due to the pandemic. A headmistress at a school here, who did not want to be identified, said only 25.71% of her students showed up. "We have 35 students from Pre-school to Primary 6, but only nine of them came. Despite the low attendance, classes have to go on," she said.
