Lubbock police identify passenger, driver in fatal single-vehicle rollover Lubbock police officials on Tuesday identified the 31-year-old man who died in a Saturday single-vehicle wreck in Central Lubbock. Dalton McCandless died at the scene after he was ejected from a GMC Envoy after it rolled over in the 2800 block of the I-27 Northbound access road. The driver of the SUV, 34-year-old Lisa Morris, suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to University Medical Center. Lubbock police crash investigators believe Morris was driving the Envoy northbound on the I-27 access road when the vehicle veered to the right, left the roadway and flipped before stopping in the parking lot of a business, according to a police news release.
