His death came two days after a fire that claimed the life of a resident at the Chestnut Apartments in Mantorville. Nash, who served two terms as mayor of Mantorville, getting elected in 2008 and 2010, and also served as a member of the city council after being appointed in 2019 and elected last November, died of a heart attack, according to a statement from the Mantorville Chamber of Commerce.
