Luxembourg CSSF: Publication Of Guidance On Teleworking - Finance and Banking


On 9 April 2021, Luxembourg's financial
regulator, the
Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier
("CSSF"), issued Circular 21/769
1 on
teleworking.  It will enter into force on 30 September 2021
assuming working conditions have returned to normal.
Purpose and Scope
The circular clarifies the governance and security requirements
applicable in the context of remote working and applies only in
normal working conditions.  It will not apply in pandemic
situations (e.g. during COVID-19) or under other exceptional
circumstances which have a comparable impact on normal working
conditions.
It applies to all entities supervised by the CSSF, e.g. credit
institutions, alternative investment fund managers, investment
firms, specialised and support PFS, etc. ("Supervised
